You can fundraise for Anna Freud at work in a range of different ways:Payroll giving: this is one of simplest and most tax efficient ways of making a regular donation to us. Payroll Giving donations are deducted before tax so each £1.00 you give a month will only cost you 80p, and if you're a higher rate tax payer it will only cost you 60p. You can speak to your HR department about setting up a regular gift to Anna Freud through your salary. Match funding: If you're fundraising for us, check whether your workplace does match funding. Many employers will agree to match whatever you raise which can be a great way to double your fundraising total.
Charity of the Year: Why not nominate us as your workplace Charity of the Year? We've worked with organisations including Jo Malone London, Goldman Sachs, and RBS and can offer your workplace a bespoke package to make sure you and your staff get the most out of your relationship with us."At Smith Webb, wanting to help mental health and anti-bullying charities was our aim from the outset. We both have extended family members that have been severely affected by mental health issues, and both of us have also experienced perinatal and postnatal anxiety. We also have five children between us, and we have witnessed firsthand the impacts of bullying on one of our own children's mental health. We felt that mental health wasn't spoken about as freely and openly as we would like, so our aims were two-fold - to raise awareness of these issues, and raise funds for our charities. We created a brand around our ethos of kindness - being kind to each other, and to yourselves. The thought that just a simple smile can brighten some's day if they're feeling low - we want to be that smile." Jo Smith and Chloe Webb, Smith Webb.

At school
Fundraising for Anna Freud has plenty of benefits for your pupils from working as a team and planning, to learning about mental health. Pupils knowing that their school is supporting other young people who are struggling is a fantastic feeling. Here are some of the ways schools have fundraised for us in the past:
Sponsored walks and sporting events: Improve physical fitness and get outdoors, all while raising money for children and young people Bake sales: bake sales are a tried and tested way to raise money and we can provide resources to furnish your stall Talent show: let pupils show you their hidden talents and raise funds for us in the process. Young people from Camden organised a talent show for us and raised over £200.Raffles: Take the stress out of hosting a raffle by using Raffall. The platform takes care of licenses, tickets, and choosing a winner - all you have to do is secure the prizes and let everyone know First Give: First Give is an amazing programme which helps young people to give their time, tenacity and talents to improve their local communities. We were delighted to participate for the first time in 2017. Not only did the pupils learn more about mental health, they also won a £1000 donation. If your school is near our offices in King's Cross or Manchester, why not choose to learn more about Anna Freud?
